BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology) is an organization dedicated to fostering science and engineering among high school and middle school students throughout the country. Each year, a competition is held where students construct a robot from a limited set of materials. The robot competes in a game against the other schools where the robots may be removing "dangerous" materials, rescuing aliens, or saving the world. The North Houston BEST Hub supports schools from the Montgomery County and North Harris County area.
